The Opole, Philharmonic of Poland includes some of the most outstanding piano violin, and vocal soloists in the world. Its program will feature a "Viennese Gala Evening" with soprano soloist. Since 1960, the Orchestra has participated regularly in prestigious Polish cultural events. Under Maestro Boguslaw Dawidow's leadership, it was the only Polish Orchestra invited to participate in the Gala Concert in Rome to mark the 80th birthday of Pope John Paul II in May 2000. This winter, the Orchestra undertakes for the first time a transcontinental tour of the United States. Lucky for us, Zanesville is one of the cities to be included.
